My Dreams

I've always wanted to make a difference.

Ever since I was a little girl I've wanted to be an actor or singer/dancer. I always loved having my photo taken so my Mum put me in a holiday programme at Racheal's  Modelling School in Adelaide. I had a lot of fun!

I also use to write and tell stories to my younger brother. My Dad use to make up bedtime stories for us then I'd make up my own. When I look back through those books now I can barely understand what I wrote. (Hadn't learnt to write properly)

I was in plays at Gawler East Primary school and LOVED it. I played a fairy in 'A Midsummers Dream' and an angel in my year 5 Christmas concert. We had the coolest drama teacher ever!

During year 5 I had moved in with my Dad. When Dad and his girlfriend (Lisa) got pregnant they decided to move into her house. So at the end of 2004 I moved to a new suburb and started a new school in 2005.

I found it hard to make friends because I was still such a child yet all the kids at my new school seemed very grown up. The girls in my class were really dumb too. (I don't want to seem mean but c'mon, ear 7's thinking we could live with no trees or that I must have an eating problem because I am skinny and still eat healthy.)

They didn't have a drama teacher at that school but a man did come in and put together a short play about smoking. I played a minor character called Simone who thought smoking was cool.

The next year I was in Wakakirri, for those who don't know what it is:

Wakakirri encourages students to learn through the creation and sharing of stories. Students can tell stories through a range of arts mediums, sharing them both live and online. Established in 1992, Wakakirri is Australia’s largest arts challenge for schools involving over 20,000 students in every state and territory.
Wakakirri has live events in 16 locations, a live audience of 30,000 and online events involving 64,000. Wakakirri stories reach over 1 million people each year. Wakakirri is free to enter and accessible to every school in Australia. (http://www.wakakirri.com/wakakirri-primary/about-wakakirri-primary
Our school did a our story through dance. I tried out for the lead but my friend got the part. (and was amazing at it!) I played one of the artist, the dance was weird but it was a lot of fun. We got to perform on stage twice. It was so much fun.
In primary school I was also a singer in a band. In high school we attempted our band again but with some new friends. One of the girls didn't like me and tried to have me kicked out. The band broke up after that.
Later in high school I played  a small part in one of our musicals.
I still am working on my dreams of becoming a performer, I know it will be hard work.

Right now I am applying on My Star for beginner jobs and trying to find acting classes in Adelaide.

Friday night bowling

Sunday, 19 August 2012

Hey

Hey, I have been meaning to write.

In the last 2 weeks I have been trying to get out more and see people, instead of sitting at home watching other people have fun on TV. Last Friday I went bowling and on the Saturday my best friend Jessica came over and cooked dinner with me.

This Saturday I went bowling at another place that had put put golf as well. It was fun!

Before I mentioned TV shows. At the moment I am obsessed with 'The Vampire Diaries'. Sad that I have to wait until October before season 4 comes out. They don't show it in Australia at the same time so I have to watch it online. So excited after season 3's cliff hanger.

I started reading the book but they are completely different.

I have some videos and photos I'll upload for you.

- Enjoy

Gawler Trip

Yesterday I went to Gawler with my Mum and took some photos. It was fun but we didn't have very long as we had to pick up my little brother.
